This image was actually created as a full page spread for my first zine, which is a collection of three stories about a period of time in my life. This has become of my favourite works that I’ve created, especially because I had the opportunity to experiment a lot with choosing and presenting the colours. I used a process of layering to get the effect that I was looking for, for the background, and then I was able to create the illustration on top of it.
