To get started on this illustration, I red over the script and made note of all the descriptors in it, so that I wouldn’t miss something when I did the illustration. I also delved deeper into colour theory, and trend to make every colour play off of each other intentionally, by using opposites on the colour wheel. I always struggled with colour when I was first attending school, but I learned that if you plan it all out and work with basic colour theory, it’ll feel a whole lot less scary (who knew).
