This work was created with a combination of observation from life, photograph and memory. I wanted to portray a feeling of childhood nostalgia, and chose some of my brother and I’s favourite things from then. It was interesting painting my home from my childhood from memory. Trying to remember how everything felt, especially to a child and then trying to recreate that in a painting.
